Zany’s Bit

I am a Loony Bird, who at times can be your Moon Maiden if you are lucky. On second thoughts,I am this little pest who lives in this insane world.I ramble my endless thoughts of insaneness and saneness in this sane less insane world….I follow my own rules and principles…..I live life my way….I ponder endlessly of things which are not insane in this insane world….because those things shouldn’t happen..they are technically not allowed in this insane world… (in short..I am insane always and a lil bit sane at times!!)

I know now you are thinking what this insane pest is doing opening a cooking blog! well I told you I am insane, but not insane enough to burn up my kitchen! I do not know how it all started, but one fine day I decided I can be a great cook (Note: I said GREAT)

So tada….I entered the place where my mom used to hold the reigns and be the queen, and suggested maybe it is time for her to pass the crown to me, and oh my was she glad to agree with me!

That is how I started to rule over my subjects of the kitchen kingdom….Now, all those lovely spices – mustard, cumin, fennel, dhania, saffron and all the rest started blending to me and turning to such tastes that I order that they turn to, not to forget all thos hot red chilli peppers, black peppers and the aromatic spices of cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and bayleaves started swaying to my music of cooking. The fruits, vegetables, wheat and rice sprang to attention whenever I as much as gave a glance at them.

Welcome to this insane place where I share with you the secrets of various dishes which I have tried in my typical zany way. I also have a huge collection of recipes from various books and magazines, some tried and some untried by my. I will post all them and much more here.

You can find everything from South and North Indian vegetarian dishes, the all spicy Indian Non Vegetarian to soups and desserts and thirst quenchers along with some other cusines too!

Well I almost forgot, you can also grab a bite with the Tea Time Snacks!
